I-131 - 17 months in process & nothing yet
I have I140 approved. My I131 and I485 pending on EB2 NIW. Priority date September 14 2022. I need to undertake training at the company I work for in Brazil at the beginning of February, this training is vital for my stay at the company. I already made an "expedite request" it's been more than 7 business days and I haven't had any answers! Is there any way to get I131 approved urgently?

did you try using congressman and ombudsman expediting? that will speed up the process for you. sorry to hear about your delay.

in case you dont get it approved in time, can you work woluntarily, during the training, without being paid until you got your card? will it be illegal?
