I-130 Wahala 🤦🏼♂️
I Got Approved Of My I-130 On the 8th Of This Month Of June...And My Notice Was Sent And It Says MY PETITION IS BEING APPROVED BUT IT WASN'T INDICATED ON THE PETITION THAT THE BENEFICIARY INTENDS TO APPLY FOR AN IMMIGRANT VISA ABROAD AT THE US EMBASSY OR CONSULATE OR WOULD APPLY FOR ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS IN THE UNITED STATES
THEREFORE USCIS HAS RETAINED THE PETITION🤦🏼♂️...IF THE BENEFICIARY INTENDS TO APPLY FOR ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS IN THE UNITED STATES THEY SHOULD SUBMIT A COPY OF THE NOTICE ALONG SIDE WITH A FORM 1-485.
Please I'm Confused...Help Please. 🤦🏼♂️😔😔🤦🏼♂️

they will send you a welcome letter from NVC. from there you would understand better. If you’re outside or not. They don’t indicate it there. They only send your notice of approval. NVC would get in touch with you & more explanation from them

moreover you file for i130 only right. if yes that’s what you get. and if not, people file inside USA , will file both i130 and 1-485 form altogether. and receive both decision on different date

You don’t need to wait and the NVC is not contacting you any soon if you don’t file form I-824 and ask them to forward the petition to NVC. there’s a part of I-130 question you didn’t answer that triggered your petition not to be sent to NVC. just file the form I-824 and when it’s approved, your case will be sent to NVC and you’ll be DQed and wait for interview Lagos consulate. congratulations on your first victory, you have two more to win.
