I-130 US citizen filing for child
Hi everyone! Just curious! my husband just applied for my daughter. he is a US citizen. I don't have my gc approved yet. I'm still waiting but it's going well. It's been only 8 months and I am here in the us waiting for AOS BUT my daughter is overseas in my home country πͺπ¨ She is a minor. She is not turning 21 any time soon. Can somebody share their timeline with me to have an estimate of how long it's actually taking to be approved in the same situation that I am, or at least how long it's taking to get to NVC phase?? Are minors being petitioned by us citizens considered a priority?? Could I expedite if I'm already here in the us?? Thank you and any insight will be very much appreciated β€

I know.. it's frustrating. but it's taking between 7-8 months. that's normal processing time. so you should get it soon. In November they were processing April and may and june, now they should be processing July, August and so on @Dalla Thom

we submitted 2 applications for me and the child, the child was considered first, then we tightened up my form and a month later we approved the two of us, only 132 days for the whole process before submitting the 260 form to the nvc
ps: processing of documents was in Texas

I have the exact situation. I will be having my interview next month. My child I 130 was in Texas but was transferred to NBC pending my interview. My child pd is Nov 2020 and still at actively been reviewed. I had no clue it would have been this long.
