I-130 Timeline?
Hi there,
I am just curious if someone is in a similar situation as mine. I do have an asylum case open with the court, my individual being scheduled in 2029.
As well, in the same time, I have an open I-130, filled in September 2022, at the time my wife being a green card holder - she became a citizen in October 2024 and we updated the I-130.
My question is, does it really takes so long to receive an answer for the I-130? We received our first “Case is being actively reviewed” in December 2022.
Is there anything we can do, or we just have to keep waiting until they would decide to approve the I-130?
