Weβre in the same position trying to get our case upgraded from F2A to IR1 but still no response after 25 days from texas service centre, how long did it take you to hear back from USCIS about upgrade? Did you call them to upgrade?
K BFeb 23, 2024
@p kaur we had our lawyer submit copy of the naturalization certificate and a cover letter requesting an upgrade. No calls to USCIS . basically we submitted in late September and next thing we know, we received not just acknowledgement that it was upgraded but final approval in which it was indicated that it was for IR-1 meaning they upgraded and likely approved at the same time . 45 days from that paper submission to the final approval
