824 approved! I-130 sent to NVC
we had to submit a 824 to switch from AOS to Consulate Processing. I was prepared to wait for a year for 824 to be approved but to our surprise, our I-130 updated today that it was sent to Department of State! no update on 824 status. Next is waiting for the welcome letter but also for my spouse to apply for naturalization, and upgrade next year.

@Mil y Where do I have to mention in Form I-824 where my interview schedule is? i was submited in may’23.

@BA Desai im not sure what you mean by interview schedule. The beneficiary physical address informs the NVC which consulate the interview will be scheduled. I don’t know exactly where that is in the form from memory

when you filed your i824 which approval notice did you include the one from online USCIS account or the one they sent to your house in the mail ?

@Ambitiousearthling49 A I have no idea. I didn’t do anything after submission. I included the approval that was in the mail. when I say “I”, my partner who is the petitioner.
