I-130 process timeline
Hi guys, My husband filed an I-130 petition for me on June 16, 2024. It's now been over a year with no updates, and the receipt number starts with #IOE. The case is being processed at the #VermontServiceCenter. I'm wondering if anyone else is in a similar situation or has recently received updates after a long wait? We haven't heard anything, and I'm feeling a bit lost on what to do next. Any insights into typical timelines, or recent progress stories from similar cases would be incredibly helpful! Also, if you have advice on how to inquire about the case status effectively, please share.

hi there. this is absolutely normal they are currently processing the cases in 15 months. they just started working on April cases so you’ll probably hear something back in the next 2 months.

it is totally normal for consular processing (beneficiary waiting outside the US)
