where is your case being processed? is the beneficiary inside or abroad? usc or lpr? me too, my husband filed it on June 19, 2019. next week2 years ago none update yet. it’s in Vermont husband usc

there’s something about your case that the USCIS doesn’t like and they’ve decided to sit on it and not decide the case. your case probably won’t be processed unless you file a lawsuit (petition for writ of mandamus)… you should call an immigration lawyer

@martha talk to another lawyer that knows what they’re doing… 2 years is an unreasonable delay you need to file a lawsuit. I know one person that waited 2 years and was afraid to file a lawsuit? so she kept waiting, and another 2 years went by with no progress… after 4 years she finally filed a lawsuit and her case was approved a couple months later.

@mr men contacting your local congressional/ombudsman sometimes works but from speaking to many many lawyers with years of experience that doesn’t work. if the USCIS wants to sit on a case being contacted by a congressperson isn’t going to change their mind

I filed my i130 petition application on 29 oct 2018 and was just recently approved this 29 Jan 2021 so relax it’s gonna be approved soon same processing center California and my wife is a US citizen

I see a lot of 2018 cases not even approved yet so relax it’s gonna be approved but keep calling them

@micheal the 2018 cases getting approved was likely because of a lawsuit.
