i-130 petition change service center not my jurisdiction
hi,I live in the north east nj ,I'm petition for unmarried son & daughter on Jan 17 2023 .got my reciet stating that my case was in Vermont service center, they sent me another reciet that my case in now being processed in California "worse places to get processed "I have no idea why I'm in California, I spoke to paralegal at my lawyer office & they have no club why " they assume " it's because Vermont my jurisdiction services center can't handle their load.any one going thru the same dilemma?🙄😤

If you're consulate your application can end up at any service center. It doesn't go to the nearest field office like AOS does. Usually, it's a good sign that it's been "transferred". Hoping you're approved within the next week. 🙏🏾🤞
