I-130, I-485, I-765???
Hello everyone! I just filed I-130 on April 2024 for my husband but I’m seeing a lot of people that filed all three forms I-130, I-485, and I-765 together? I’m wondering if that’s why we haven’t received a biometric appointment notice yet from Nebraska? Planning to file I-485 here soon and will also file I-765 if needed . do you think having all 3 forms filled out and submitted will help speed up the process? Honestly just want to get over the biometric steps so he can get his EAD 😩

@time line24 thank you I had no idea. Will have to work on the I-485 form now. We didn’t hire a lawyer I figured I could just file everything on my own.

@Marcus Boeckel I love her! she’s actually the one that encouraged me to file for it myself and not go through a lawyer. Thank you for the link. I will definitely look into it again and start with the I-485 and I-765 process ☺️

@Marcus Boeckel that’s right! I watched her video about the app over a month ago and downloaded it straight away. So glad she partnered up with them and is able to make some money from it. She deserves so much. 👏🏽

The I-765 is the EAD which just gives temporary work authorization until your I-485 is adjudicated. I’d file everything ASAP if the beneficiary is in the US.
Biometrics will be scheduled for I-765 and I-485. If they want to travel you can also file I-131 with the others.
