I-130 form taking slow to process
US citizen petition for children under 21 yrs since March 22, 2022. Case is being actuvely reviewed since April 5, 2022, to date I have not gotten any response. My 2 kids are in Jamaica and I just want to be reunited with them. Case is at Potomac Service Center. Anyone knows how long it will take? or have been in similar situation?

My child is in Jamaica too. PD Sept 12, 2022. Approved August 19, 2023. DQ'd September 20, 2023. Currently waiting on interview date.
I asked for help from my congressman so if you have a valid reason I would suggest that you try that.
She got approve less than a month after congress contacted USCIS.

@RKDAK T I do have a valid reason, both my boys are not doing so well so it’s really depressing. I will try that and see if it would work out, thank you for that info. The waiting just seem so long.

I have the same field office , my pd is 01/18/2022 . I got actively reviewing on October 20th 2022 and haven’t heard anything since then
