I-130 for Spouse (Green card holder and spouse lives abroad)
Hi everyone! As a Green Card holder, I submitted the I-130 form on July 28th 2023. My status changed to actively being reviewed by USCIS October 21st 2023, and my estimated time untill case decisions now is set to 8 months (it was 6 months three days ago).
I wanted to know if this was good progress?
My spouse is from Iraq.

it's not accurate that processing time in your progress
my was 3 weeks because I applied my i130 on February 2022 and I'm LPR in Nebraska
after those 3 weeks, it's turned to your case is talking longer then expected and so far it's been already 1 month now
I'm waiting since 21 months now in Nebraska service

my priority date is October 24, 2022. the status changed to case is being actively reviewed since March 10, 2023. Nothing changed! my husband is a green card holder. tomorrow is one year that he filed for me! i'm from iraq too!

i am LPR too. i applied for my husband. my pd is February 2023
my progress was 3 weeks as of September 20. it changed to case taking longer than expected, then to actively reviewing on October 5. on October 7 my progress time went to 7 months since then

Dont rely on that it’s inaccurate .. if you want to have an idea how long it will take check the processing time on USCIS website based on your category
