I-130 Finally Approved!
I would like to share my I-130 timeline with the community here hoping that it may be helpful to some of you guys. -US citizen filing for a spouse living abroad. -The case was received by the Potomac service center, and was later transferred to the Vermont service center. -P.D. : January 24, 2022 -Case is being actively reviewed : January 30, 2023 -Case was approved on January 31, 2023 (Approval notice sent by the Vermont S.C.) - No K3 I guess the case should be on its way to the NVC. Does anyone know how long it takes to receive the welcome letter upon approval by U.S.C.I.S.? Thanks!

My daughter in law and son’s i130 was approved the day before yours from California. NVC welcome letter in email this morning. Fees paid a couple of hours ago and has already been accepted by NVC! They’re working on the I 260 right now. 😁

Congrats! You're lucky. My case is the same. Filing for spouse living abroad and being processed by Potomac. My PD is January 18th 2022 but unfortunately wasn't actively reviewed until June 16th 2022. Still waiting :-/

@Amy Rogers, that's great news. I received the letter, paid the fees, and am currently waiting for some documents. Thank you for sharing!

@Jeffrey OHara, I have no idea how they determine what cases to start working on. it seems a little arbitrary. Anyway, I hope your case is approved soon.
