I-130 F2A Approved!
I downloaded this app back in 2020 shortly after my husband and I submitted our application so that I could keep track of our case. Since then, I've seen numerous posts where others have shared updates about their own cases, be it approvals, denials, or just questions they needed help with. Frankly, there were times when I thought about deleting the app as it was a constant reminder that there was nothing happening with our case and I often wondered when it would finally be our turn. Admittedly, the very reason I was tempted to get rid of it is the same reason I couldn't...reading about other people's experiences with this process helped me to realize that I wasn't alone in this and that sooner or later, I'd have my day. I'm thrilled that after close to 2 years, our case has finally been approved without so much as a rfe (yep, I've even prayed to get one just so I could tell that someone at least looked at our case 😄) I know that this is just the first of many steps in a long process (especially for people with cases like mine) but I'm extremely happy that I'm one step closer to reuniting with my husband.

Congratulations!!! I’m so glad that you shared that because I personally have deleted this app multiple times already because I felt like there was no point having hope. I am currently 15 months into my journey and I know I still have quite some time to go. It doesn’t help to see that some people have waited up to 3 years for their approvals knowing that I’ve only gotten through a year so far. Even though my case has been processing for only a year, my husband and I have been long distance for the past 3 years. It’s very difficult as we are both young and have so many plans for a life together and to start our own family. The only thing stopping us is the distance between us. I pray for anyone going through something like this because it tests you physically, mentally, and emotionally. I have been battling with anxiety for most of my life and this situation has only made things worse for me. I truly enjoy reading success stories as it does make me see the light at the end of the tunnel and I enjoy celebrating everyone’s dreams coming true.
