I-130 Expedite Request
Hello Community, I requested for my I-130 to be expedited because of humanitarian reason (my mom is critically I’ll with heart and kidney condition, and barely has limited time). I submitted the request through a USCIS representative over the phone on 03/22/2022 and I received a response the next morning asking for evidence with a 48hrs time frame to send it. I immediately got through to the hospital and requested for the medical reports and history, but due to the time difference and protocols in Africa, the reports came in on Saturday which was cpl of hours after the 48hrs time frame I was given to submit the evidence. I still went ahead and submitted them along with a note explaining why the evidence is being sent late. I just got an email from the this morning stating; On March 23, 2022, we responded to your service request for expeditious processing of your case. We asked you to submit evidence supporting the need for expeditious processing, but we did not receive a response within the specified timeframe. Therefore, your request for expeditious processing is denied. I called USCIS over the phone now and the person I spoke to said I can submit another request in 7 days. Has this happened to anyone before, did you submit another request, was it approved? Please, I need your information because I am going crazy. I lost my Dad and couldn’t go for his funeral, I won’t survive loosing my mom, the only parent I have left again without seeing her. I am gradually dying of depression.
