It is about 2 years for a green card holder. Have patience.

You filed in February of this year as, i filed in January on the 26 of 2023 if you get approval before me please let me know. Because I had put in a request for an expedite of my case as a wee ago it was time up for my case final decision and then it's been a week since and i got the your case is taking longer than expected. So now moving into the second week and nothing changed and today i can't get on my account.

I hope they approve my husband. Because I don't want to have to uproot and move to Canada just to be with him there. As I'm not legal there to work and I'm waiting on my taxes and then I'm going to hire a lawyer to get me legal there But the wait is hard on me.

😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔😔 they should open more USCIS offices to get these cases moving faster. The heartbreak is real and it's not healthy for people to have to wait in sadness this long waiting on them to make a decision on a case.

LOL... Has happened to all of us. I filed on June 6, 2022 and still waiting. My case was at one point at 3 months, then 2, then 4 weeks,3 weeks,2 weeks, 1 week and finally when it came to the date it simply changed to Taking longer than expected and it's been there for 2 months now. SO don't trust the time frames, also if you try calling and asking why, all you will hear is those are simply estimates. Unfortunately we are all on the same waiting Boat

@Nadav N I know that time frames showes that for green card holders takes longer, but that’s not necessarily the case. Most of the people I know finished their process in a much shorter period of time than 2 years. Anyway, if anyone is in a similar situation and progressed, please share your experience with me… 🙏

Now I'm at Actively being reviewed after RFE was received last early last month

@Jonni Scalf did they approved your request for expedited reviewing? I know that it’s difficult to get that

Yes they approved it. As i had 11 months for processing and then i filed the expedite request and it went from 8 months to 5 weeks in the last week of June

@Jonni Scalf based on what did they accepted your expedite request? i was thinking on file, so that’s why I ask

Jovana Vracic, It was the expedite request that they accepted.

Because like you in May for me was 8 months till a decision. After i sent in the expedite request it then went to 2 months then from 2 months to 8 weeks then to 5 weeks in the last week of June. and a week ago was the last week till decision time and then it went to your case is taking longer than expected for a week in a half now.

Their final decision was scheduled for the middle of July.

But hopefully good news to come to the both of us Jovana.
