hi all,
I got married overseas summer of this year and filed my I130. after doing some research, I heard about the K3 visa potentially speeding things up.
since I filed an I-130, the K3 visa filing was free. the K3 is a non-immigrant visa for spouses. however, from my research they say the K3 is rarely approved and is a dead visa. the purpose is to accelerate the processing time of the I130 as they don’t issue K3s anymore.
google I129F and fill out the form and mail in the forms. there is no online filing option for the K3. be sure to check the K3 box on the form
