I’m also in the same stage. just today my case went to the department of state for visa processing. did your case also saying it went to department of for visa processing?

I got same message today. it was approved and sent to nvc for processing. what am I supposed to do? how do I pay and fill out forms as you have? is there a online site?

after payments and submitting everything you have to wait it can take more then the timeline on the website but you will receive a response from them more quickly then USCIS after that it depends on your embassy's backlog

@Heather E I’m not sure my attorney did everything you have to full out the D-260 and do affidavits of support too and a couple more documents is needed as well

@pujaa Ackree oh ok you have an attorney. got it. my notice says wait for nvc to contact the beneficiary within 45 days.

@Heather E Okay well I don’t know if it work’s different when u have an attorney but for me they did everything I only had to go in to do my D-260 form

@pujaa Ackree for all these we need welcome letter? pays fees , upload documents etc..mine case send to department today. so i need to wait for welcome letter? or i can contact the lawyer now?

@Ak Rai I’m not sure I didn’t receive any welcome letter yet but my lawyer already full all documents and send in the payments

hey. im DQ since April 19 2023. turned a us citizen in july . upgraded my case at nvc now waiting for an interview at guyana embassy. you have to wait on you welcome letter from nvc to actually access your nvc account to paid the fees and upload the documents.

@Alec Yusuf I don’t know if the letter was send to the attorney I have to get contact with her the office is close atm but what I know for sure I completed all documents and I send all payments so I’m waiting for a response from her

sure you can check the status of your visa if you have the case number. it took me 2 weeks after i submitted all my documents to be documentary qualified

@Alec Yusuf I get in contact with my lawyer she submitted all documents and payments on Monday I ask about the welcome letter but they didn’t receive any

@pujaa Ackree . good job maybe they got it on email. I got mine through email not a physical letter

@Alec Yusuf Ues they did because I email NVC and get the invoice number so now I’m able to see all documents submitted and so
