I-130 & I-485
My wife spoke to a live agent this afternoon and she confirmed that the I-130 was transferred to our field office on 09/03 but then she requested a service request for a out of normal processing time to which the agent did and she got the email with the referral code and the last part of that referral code shows it truly at our field office and she said the last time an agent looked at the case was 10/18…. my concern however is that I did a service request earlier this month and my I-485 is still at NBC/MSC. I thought both would have transferred same time

@shane 🇯🇲 James Hi, different applications can go to different offices and service centers. Your 485 can go somewhere and then get transferred back. That is why you see people with four different applications and they are at different offices.

@shane 🇯🇲 James Your i130 was probably transfered electronically so they could make a decision for an interview. Were you told that interview was waived?

@teetee fabulous🇯🇲❤️🇭🇹I did not asked her but in the past I called and the agent told me it was waived. A tier 2 agent told me that my 485 was at my field office and then sent back to NBC some months ago

@Kingsley B An Teir 2 agent told me it was sent to my FO then sent back to NBC and that was confirmed by another agent
