I-130 & I-129F
Hello-
I submited the I-130 for my husband pd(8/7/24). In March 2025 I submitted an I-129F(k-3) because I was told it would speed up the approval of the i-130. I have yet to receive any notifications.. Impatiently awaiting for the day to come, and finally see an approval from USCIS. Long way to go after that, since it’s outside of US -NVC and consulate processing.
My processing office is Vermont Service Center for both applications.
Has anyone from August gotten any approval, that underwent similar procedure?.

how did you apply for k3 visa

@hi new I printed out the current I-129F filing form, it asks if you’re filing for spouse. You check out that box, only proof you need to send is copy of receipt of I-130 notice, marriage certificate copy, I sent DOB certificates copies as well with translations. Also, it requires 2x2 passport style pictures of each. It is free of charge as long as you send that I-130 receipt notice. Then you can send it via FedEx, UPS or USPS each one has a different USCIS mailbox so I would suggest checking the USCIS website. ps: The K-3 is only available for US Citizens petitioning their spouse.
