I'm sorry to tell you this but the first actively reviewed doesn't mean anything unfortunately. A friend of mine has been actively reviewd since the second day they filed and now it's been 8 months and still nothing.

my i-130 was approved 09-02-2022…k3 filed and denied..didn’t help anything..

interview scheduled on the 26th this month.. Our case was expedited at the NVC stage..

Alma HT if you don’t mind me asking how did you expedite your case? and what are the reasons they can accept it?

you can just send an email to NVCExpedite@state.gov…there is a format they ask you to follow..like providing case and invoice number..names..birthdays i think..honostly when reading abouy the reasons..it almost seems like it has to be a life or death situation..my case was expedited because we are fortunate that the embassy is not that busy..so when you send the request..nvc forwards the request to the embassy and the embassy decides to accept or deny

they didn’t ask him any questions..we have a daughter so they probably don’t question anything at this point..
