How’s possible date for filling haven’t changed since October? I’m so frustrated and sad.
My family and I are on a J visa that expires in June. We have had the I-140 approved for 8 months, but the date for filling has not changed since October. Can anyone tell me if when June arrives we will have to leave the country, or with the I-140 we can stay here?

probably you'll have to leave and do everything through consular processing.

@JuanLu Alonso ask a lawyer, don’t take advise from people like us that don’t really know how thinks work. What if you can stay because you have a pending I485.

Thank you IO for your advise. I really wrote yesterday driven by strong emotions caused by the desperation just to know if someone have had a similar situation. But of course I emailed my attorneys right after to know what are my options. Thank you really.
