Through Emma chat, if you’re lucky enough to get a live agent who’s helpful, they might tell you whether your case has been moved to a field office. Generally speaking, you should at least see a recent API update (like an “updatedAt” timestamp), which usually means your case has been touched or possibly transferred to a field office—at least that’s been my experience. Once you know (or think) your case has moved, check again with another agent a day or two later to confirm, since not all agents are reliable and some might give you incorrect or random information.

thanks @Einar Adam 🙌 I checked via api and see the “ updated at” on 10/5 which is the first FTA0 and no changes since then. You are right on the “if your lucky to get a live agent who’s helpful” .. when I asked a live agent they said they cannot provide any information regarding the field office at this time. But when my wife asked about her application to Emma she was told hers was in our local field office. Since she is a dependent in my application I assume mine should also be in the same local field office. I could try again and talk to another agent, but I don’t want to annoy them.
