How many biometrics appt do I need for AOS with EAD/AP?
We field for AOS, and we both did our biometrics ( case type marked as 485, EAD).
My wife then got another biometric appts for case type AP ( they just took her signature).
However, I didn’t get the second one even though we are on the exactly same timeline?
Does it mean that I will definitely get a second one, it’s only a matter of time?
Or is it possible that I may not require the second one?

@Jay M simple rule. if you are asked to go, just go. Also very common to apply biometric to future applications, in our case even H4 ead application used the existing 485 biometric

@d s Absolutely. But in my case my wife got a second apt but I didn’t not. If don’t get a second apt, at what point should I start enquiring about whether the appt was lost in mail.

doesn’t matter @Jay M - AOS applications are individual cases adjudicated in different offices sometimes. it is common uscis service request to combine family applications. it is fair to be cautious and ask officers about a possible missing letter.
