How long would it usually take for USCIS to send me the receipt # of my application document. I sent my document last Jan 19,2021. Need my receipt # to expedite EAD as a Registered Nurse.

you should get receipt number within few weeks of submission but due to covid delays it is taking almost 1-2 months. make sure you check when your checks are cashed, once that is done, you will get receipt numbers

unfortunately you won’t be able to expedite your case until your finger prints are taken.
I had my case expedited a few month ago and through my employer but USCIS won’t accept your request until they have your finger prints on file. great luck

@RJ S. have you taken your nclex and toefl
R SFeb 3, 2021
@bb i already passed NCLEX, no need to take TOEFL, not required.
R SFeb 3, 2021
@aly dan, are you also a Nurse?
b bFeb 3, 2021
@ RJ S. congrats on passing NCLEX. I was told that because I have my nursing degree from another country I would need to get a really high score on the toefl.

@bb thanks! our institution used english when teaching, including text books and other materials we only use english. thats why we are not required to take Toefl. goodluck!
