How long this wait
I've seen many asked this question and I'm asking here mostly because I'm very anxious and feel hopeless. We basically tried every possible way to get it faster and none of them works. We expedite twice, first one got rejected in 4 days, second one asked me to fax documents and we did the same day now it's in black hole again. I have a job offer starting in May but I also need to update my name in ssa (by appointment) so I feel time is tighter every day...

Well, I don't know if this will help you feel better, but your case is in the fastest center. Mine is in Texas, and I have been waiting for 14+ months.
