how long need to work for sponsor
I have an sponsored GC, from the EB3 unskilled visa.
My question is: how long is required to work for the employer? I've started working in February and my GC was issued in February as well.
It's ok if I leave them right now and move to another company?
If I leave, would it affect anything when I apply for the citizenship?

Talk to your boss.
If the employer withdraws your approved I-140, your GC will be revoked. Google it, this is happening a lot with clients of an unfamous agency.

what is your PD and when is your i140 approved?

@Ashleigh Brands No, it won’t if your i485 has been pending for more than 6 months. Employer cannot withdraw application after 180 days of i485 filing.

@pedro pfitscher There is no any law how long you should work for employer. so it’s your choice. and employer cannot withdraw application after 180 days of i485 filing. In your case you have already received GC so you don’t need to worry about this as well.
ps:- not a legal advice so talk to attorney as well.

When it comes to naturalization it would be safe to stay in your employer for the first six months to establish a non frivolous GC application. Many advise you can change without thinking about the repercussions when they go to the next step which is the naturalization, as officers tend to scrutinize that relationship on your sponsor and the employee.

Mr X wrong! They can withdraw the I-140. Consequently, this will revoke your I-485. Don't trust the agency, they're evil.

if your i140 and your i485 is pending over 180 days so employer cannot withdraw. However they can send the letter to USCIS but it does not affect i485, maybe future us citizenship application

@Ashleigh Brands Lol plz read the law first. They cannot after 180 days of I485 pending. He already got GC so he is not bound with that contract made with the agency. That contract doesn’t account that much legally.

Mr @Ashleigh Brands you are the one that is wrong. It's too late for that shit
Don't let agencies bamboozle you with threats and lies.. they don't make the rules... USCIS does
