how long is too long to get an approval for I-130 LPR to husband overseas? my case is stuck on “case is being actively reviewed” for more than 600 days😭 it’s frustrating

woow thats long time my advice to u is to contact the uscis, to ask why its taking all of that time , may i know in which service center ur case is processing ?

mine is 639 days as of today and since it was received it is saying actively reviewing of the received date and nothing else. I am confused because some people would say that they have two and three reviewing but ........ need advice. pd 19 February 2022 California. Husband is a permanent resident.

@suchana pachhai I tried. first via live chat, and they said the case is processing normally. Then I tried to call but they send me back to their website.
the only thing that they said that I found important is that my letter was sent from California but case is in Vermont center.

@san P it depends on how old is your daughter. if she is over 21+ years then is gonna take a little bit more time than usual. if she is a minor then you have to contact Uscis.

@lis v she is 8 years old and I send service request twice now and still ntn. I call today and they say if I don't hear anything next week I should call back.about why cause is taking long.

@lis v i already chieck the processing time for vermot service center its 35 months, but this is the estimate time so what i want to know did u try to contact the uscis before or not and ur case is online or paper , is it now actively revewing or not ?
