@B M i thought that the average is 3-9 months from the day your vawa has been approved, but then, there are people who have been waiting 2 years for interview

And the most important they don’t lose your medical like it happened to me😞

I am waiting from june 2021..

I’m still waiting response 8mths after medical RFE for i485 green card interview (already transferred to local uscis field office over 18mths ago) and 2yrs after vawa 360 approval… I’m now in over-processing times and no response. I’m on my 2nd extension for EAD.

@Mrkvica M. already spoken about my case on other threads… congressional inquiry active since nov 2023 - no help… two legal outreach agencies since December 2024 - no help… uscis keeps saying they will schedule an appt via info pass within 30days (happened every month since Jan) - no scheduled appointment was ever attempted by uscis…. as stated before, I’m investigating mandamus action, however still attempting every other option before it becomes a costly event.

@kat . yeah, i remember that we already spoke about writ of mandamus. you really did everything that you could 😔

@Mrkvica M. unfortunately yes… time will tell, as limited resources deplete survival resources. I’m already getting restricted from DMV issued limited govt ID… back to using passport… EAD extension is only valid until August then I’m back to work restriction… the only thing saving me is VAWA low risk - absolutely no criminal record, a US born child with special needs, mental health and housing security. I’m a nursing student (im a front line worker - contributor to the U.S.) but eventually will lose financial aid to continue further higher education because of limitations imposed on the govt not carrying out their due diligence and process. this upcoming election is going to cause ALOT of problems!!!! Sad reality we are all facing!!

@kat . i belive that everybody is scared of these upcoming elections and we also need to put in perspective everything else going on and how many cases uscis keeps getting on a daily basis. it's tough. Everybody is so tired, because we can't start a normal life with all the restriction due to just having EAD. We can't start a career in good company because they need to see your GC and we still don't have that. People would like to leave all bad behind them and start a family but they can't because they are still in process.. it's really tough 😔😔

@Mrkvica M. no status is “case is ready to be scheduled for interview” presently. most forget that one minor status update before the actual interview scheduling 😅
