How long for NVC Case Creation?
Hello beautiful people,
my I-130 got approved 18 days ago, still showing "Case Approved" and we haven't received any welcome letter/email from NVC. Is it normal? is there anyone who faced this situation?
PD: August, 22; Texas SC
NOA2: July, 23; Potomac SC

Mine was approved 15 days ago and says "sent to the department of state"

it your case is overseas it has to be sent to the NVC,. I received a welcome letter after 33 days.

the approval letter does it say will be forwarded to nvc or does it ask to file the i824

Hello, my case is 31 days old and it says, case sent to the state department, but they have been working on creating cases with those that were sent by USCIS on June 13, the nvc page will be updated later and we will see if they have made progress

@Sakib Bin Reza NVC was updated yesterday and they are creating cases to which they were sent by USCIS on June 27

@Brenda Melendez, I am still waiting. I found this https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html. It looks like they are working on case received from 06-27. They update this every week.

UPDATE
My case is being retained by USCIS because mistakenly we selected both AoS and Consuler Processing, now they are asking to submit form i-824 paying $465 more which will incure more time and money as well. 😪

@Tess LARIS NVC replied they haven't received anything from USCIS, then we checked and it's written our application is approved but retained.
