How long for me to hear a decision after Marriage based interview.
Hello, We had our interview yesterday at Nashville field office. We’ve been married for 2 1/2 years. They got us separate, the officer interviewed me first for almost an hour asking me about my ex wife since this is second marriage (but I didn’t submit my application with my ex wife) and some questions on how we met, our apartment stuff and jobs questions (Officer was too demanding with all question she asked me) and then the officer got my wife in the room and interviewed her for just around 5 minutes. At the end the officer didn’t tell us if I’ll be approved or not, she just said “I’ll be reviewing your medical exam and I’ll give you a decision if I need anything from you I’ll send you a letter”. During the interview I asked the officer if she would like more bonafide or if she would like our pics but she just said that’s okay I have enough bonafide for now.
Any similar experience?

we had our interview yesterday as well. We went in together and it went well. IO took my picture and fingerprints after swearing us in. At the end he said that he can’t approve me right then bc he needs to look over my medical and do another background check. He also said that he doesn’t see any issues with any of our files/documents and evidence. Handed me a document that states reason for continuance at the end of interview. Took an hour total.
3 hrs later the I130 was approved.

@Rosh faith🤞🏼 Not, they haven’t approved my I-130. @Moonstruck Misfit The lady didn’t give me no paper after the interview was done .

same happened to my husband and me. separated and no paper given. it’s been four months since the interview and haven’t heard a thing

tomorrow we have another interview. they ask me to bring medical and bona-fide documents

2.5 years waiting after my first interview. and after many inquiries and congressman help. got a letter for a 2nd interview.
