I’ve been waiting for more than a year now first I had to wait 120 days and after that they’ve added 60 days three times which makes it a total of 8 months of them sending an email saying my case is still in line waiting for an interview

@Bintu Baah it’s Mar 13th 2018. But that doesn’t have anything to do with what’s happening now. I am waiting for an interview date seeing NVC already approved and accept my documents and fees. It’s just the interview date I’m waiting on and my document been completed and accepted by NVC from 20th Aug. But the consular here in JA operating at minimal interview sessions so it’s causing a back logged claimed because of Covid but one whole year blow off 2021 soon finish and still no date yet for interview. Here waiting still... it’s hard, depressing and frustrating...

@Bintu Baah oh wow the fact your petition was received in 2017 and mine in 2018 and I ended up getting DQ lil before u Aug and you Sept is crazy I don’t understand how they are doing these things and both of us basically DQ in 2020... and one year blow off for both of us and still no date is so crazy! I really hope we both get dates for next year in the early part cause I would be so devastated for a bother year blow off and nothing. This is setting back so many of us when we have goals to accomplish and get on with our lives smh

Exactly it seems like priority dates don’t matter anymore, I never thought it’ll take this long to get an interview date. As you said we’re putting all our plans and goals on hold just waiting on them which is delaying us a lot

@Bintu Baah yep exactly and the sad part is each year we getting older and it’s so depressing God knows... 😔 same, never have I thought interview dates take so long. I get that 2020 was pandemic but boi the entire 2021 the consular dragging their feet suh? One whole year! Makes me wonder is how much ppl then they doing for consular sessions suh? They need to pick up their pace and start working back on regular consular sessions. Covid not going anywhere soon but our lives are cause we aging and Covid gonna be with us a while they need to find a way to just work around it. People who in process to leave knows they have to be fully vaccinated anyway so I don’t see the threat why they don’t work back on normal hours. Is not like the people they gonna interview will not be vaccinated smh
