How do you maintain legal work status when changing jobs?
As far as I know, the severe retrogression of EB-4 cause lots of problems for religious worker. How do you maintain your legal work status when changing jobs?

Is it possible to switch the underlying basis of the pending I-485 for religious application?

As far as I know, we can’t switch employers for pending I-485 applications. There’s no I-485 supplement J for Eb4 religious workers.

Currently, a new employer must file the I-360 for you, essentially starting the process over, as EB-4 lacks AC21's portability benefits.
However, DHS is proposing a rule to enable concurrent filing and basis transfer for religious workers.
