how do I know my EB2-NIW category? and when can I change job?
My I-140 has been approved in December and my I-485 has been retrogressed (priority date May 2022).
I suppose my green card will be approved in August, how long should I stay in my current job to avoid problems if I decide to ask for citizenship after five years ?

you can change jobs. NIW is not employer dependent and make sure you are still in your proposed area to be safe

I heard it is better if you want to file for naturalisation to stay in your current job for six months

@Marco P changing job for NIW it is not an issue unless you are changing your area of focus on the cover letter. Changing a job with same your scope and better may lead to fast approval in some cases.

that’s not the question , the question is after approval. if I change immediately, do I risk problems ?
