Call or chat online with life agent and ask to expedite. They will give you a list of reasons and you chose one. Most persons choose financial hardship. There is no trick to it. it’s all up to the discretion of the person handling the case if they want to approve it or not. Some with ask for evidence and some won’t.

I called 6 days ago on humanitarian basis to get my EAD faster but, today 485 got approved. Two days after the request submission I got an update the “request to expedite has been received” and today NOT my 765 but the 485 “card was being produced.” I’m so thankful because I really needed it. I was recently given the guardianship of a family member that became disabled due to an accident. When I sent my original application in August 2022, I attached the Court guardianship certificate and his citizenship papers. I guess the officer understood the urgency.
