you have to go on uscis processing time look for the i-485 put in your zipcode and it will tell you what fo will be handling your case

mostly in Texas that is where they normally process pple on removal

Get info pass( call or chat with Emma to set it up for you) with your local FO then take a new packet of AOS with your receipt from the first filing.

Guys, I’m in the same situation and even heard back from my inquiry and the email said I needed to take the judges decision along with a copy of the i485 receipt. But when I do call them to help me schedule an info pass, they insist I don’t need one and that my case is within processing time (mind you where my case is at they don’t process marriage based gc). I don’t know what else to do. I’m waiting for another call from them this week to hopefully be heard by someone. The last officer even hung up on me when I was politely trying to explain. He did have access to the email they sent me but even then he did not agree to give me an info pass 😭

I have tried that too. It seems they can only schedule someone to call me about it and when I get the call they don’t want to give me an info pass. We’re you able to get an appointment straight from the chat?

wow!! So similar to what’s happening to me. I am sorry you’re also going through the same thing. I have a small baby and I’m also a nurse and it’s so so hard to be glued to my phone only to hear such things.. hopefully I’ll get a call in the next couple of days and be able to talk to someone that cares. How did you approach the call? Did you explain your whole situation from the beginning or straight out asked for an info pass?

@Mmls Long Island I also have the same case with you! how long does it take for the judge to terminate the removal proceding! and do you have a good lawyer! my field office is also Long Island! my i130 was approved today feb 15 and my i485 was denied because I have a removing proceding! I realy don’t know where to start from!

now listen bro , Do not get too excited with 130 approval get an attorney to find out when is your court date so as to know when to write to judge to terminate your removal proceeding. then with the termination letter u can file with uscis and get it green card through them . if your court day pass and u did not appear or write for termination of you case then judge will instruct ICE to deport you . @Edwin Clark my court case has passed! it was in 2019! I was denied when I filled in New Jersey! I later move to New York and refilled again in 2020! I don’t get any notice of any judge case! I guess it has passed! it was the IO that was telling me yesterday at the interview that I had a court case of removing proceding! I guess the judgement was made in2020! he said he would have approved both i485 and i130 if I didn’t have removing proceding!

get attorney and re open your court case . if officer told u ur still in proceedings u can never get a green card if u don’t clear you court case . pls get an attorney to resolve this for u .
