Hi, I transferred my vawa , (I got my vawa receipt already)I have my i485 and i130 pending due to marriage, my lawyer transferred my case and send just the i360 , Today I tried to contacted an agent through Emma.about get information about my i485, She said that my case was transferred to a local office close to me (Queens, NY) 10/06/2023. I was thinking that my i485 it has to go to Vermont! no?
Hola transferí mi caso a vawa, (Tengo mi recibo de vawa ya) , tengo pendiente mi i485 y i130 basado a mi matrimonio, mi abogado transfirió mi caso a vawa. Hoy contacted un agente a través de Emma para obtener información acerca de mi i485, Ellos dicen que fue transferido a una oficina local aca en Queen NY, 10/06/2023. No se , porque se supone que debe ser transferido a Vermont, No?

@tired from waiting listen, I transferred my case to vawa, My i485 was supposed to be sent to vermont no a local office. I’m so confused , I sent my medics at the beginning when my wife send the package.

I think i485 stay on your local offices and i360 Vermont when Vermont approve s then the local office may approve your I485

@Rony R that what my layer said, because my I485 reaches local office and I was going to interview then I had to apply to I 360, so my I 485 in local offic showed appointment will be rescheduled and my lawyer said nothing will happen until I360 approved!

please anyone correct me if I’m wrong. I think for anyone who has a family base i130 and i485 and decided to go vawa route will also need to put in a new i485 as the old one will not be valid hence you are no more pursuing the i130 route. during mine My attorney put in a new i485 along with my i360 and today I have my greencard. But I have a friend whom his i360 was approved in 2021 and he is yet to receive greencard not until I have mine I started getting worried about him until I discovered his lawyer never put in a new i485 it was just only i360. As I speak they just put in a new i485 last month. I think the old one will not be valid again hence you are no more going through that route therefore you have to put in a new one base on i360.
