holy crap @Dmitry. Which service center is it? Why do you think it’s taking so long, is i140 approved?

check when your case gets transferred to NBC. USCIS said in a recent call that they are trying to get as many available EB-1/2 approved by end of September. The case typically gets transferred to NBC and then the workload is distributed across multiple field offices

My case was always at NBC. Not sure how they prioritize non transfers but direct NBC applications.

Oh it should be very quick then, I saw someone on Reddit get it wthin three months for non concurrent I485 to NBC

Woah. I’ve been seeing on Hilites and Reddit as well. (15 applications at NBC non concurrent in the last 30 days got approved within 2 months!!). Hopefully it’s the same haha. Thanks for your comments @peace

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/reducing-processing-backlogs here is the link for reducing processing times by USCIS. Looking at the recent trend and above link, I-485 can be approved by NBC within 6 months. this is just a prediction!

they released an FAQ and are saying that everyone with an approved EB1/2 I140 with filed I485 by April 2022 should get a GC by end of fiscal year (September 2022)

Yeah but trusting them is kinda hard. hopefully they keep their word!

Hello All, I received an email this morning from USCIS mentioning that “we have taken an action on your case” but when I checked into my USCIS account, I do not see any updates and the status remains the same. I completed biometric appointment yesterday, Is this email something to do with my biometric appointment or something else. Can anyone had a similar experience. Please share/suggest. Thanks

@Mr. M B I have seen multiple posts regarding this. It usually takes them a day or two to update the case status after that email. If you just completed your biometrics then it usually means that your EAD and/or AP document has been approved.

@EB1, Just noticed that USCIS has an update to show that my biometric have been received. 52nd day after I-485 application submission.
