How accurate is SAVE?

DMVs and other institutions use the SAVE system to verify an immigrant status through USCIS? Is it as reliable as the USCIS online case status check (not reliable at all)? Or is it really trustable? At the DMV they told me I have to present proof of residency because I'm supposed to be a resident. Best!

So I checked my SAVE status constantly after going to the DMV. It said that it was completed and sent back to the DMV, but every time I called the DMV they said they didn’t receive anything yet. It took me 3 months from opening a case to getting a letter that I can get a license.

My case is different. SAVE gave the DMV my status right away. SAVE said I am a GC holder... I wish... I'm not a GC holder and my i485 status says "Fingerprint Fee Received"

I would take all your receipt notices and ask for them to open another case maybe? Or get in touch with the Research Department at the DMV, that’s what I did

hi guys, old forum but adding comment. little background, i had same issue renewing DL in PA, i went in April, save verification still pending, i went today again in another dmv, they saw my first request, and submitted another request, now my second request on save came as completed, I haven’t received the letter yet, shall i visit dmv with new case number that case status completed?
