@L Martins yes it is bad, you are supposed to reply to RFE before the deadline. they might deny the case

@aaa yhf do you know anyone who was denied after case was reopened for reconsideration and case was reopened? why did they reopen the case if the problem was the deadline? why not denied straight away?

@aaa yhf my case was that the RFE was not included in the system and they sent it to the wrong address, and it took me a while to receive it, my lucky that the person who received this at her house found me. so I put this in the RFE response, I asked to reconsider if it arrived after 08/01 as I had these problems and It took me a while to receive the RFE, I think if it was because it was late it would have been denied, isn’t? It's beyond the deadline and should have been denied when they received it, but I need to wait for the notice they sent to arrive that says what I need to do... so far I haven't been denied. I sent it on January 3rd, and the deadline was January 8th, I just don't know what day it arrived. detail, my address was correct, because I received the receipt number, but RFE they decided to send it to another number. So I don't believe the problem was arriving later. but this is just my speculation, I do believe that it can be denied, because it is not as it should be, or because they just want it, but not for the deadline.

@L Martins I found myself in a similar predicament. I received a denial notice and the reason was that I did not respond to the RFE. 5 days before I received this denial notice, a status check revealed that my RFE response has been received and actively been reviewed. 2 days after I received this denial notice, my case was approved. A day later, status check showed that my case has been reopened for consideration, and then it was approved the day after. keep fingers crossed and keep praying. May you receive a favorable verdict.

@D Flex thanks for sharing about your case! I believe it may have been denied, but it didn't show in the app.. and it doesn't show denied. Then they reopened when I received my RFE. This week I believe I will receive the letter. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I received that my case reopened for reconsideration after 4 days aftwr getting approval. not sure what this means?
