My case has been in (actively being reviewed) since 09/08/23 with no updates? My husband in abroad. I’m the US citizen. Why would I have no updates?

@Molly Salem We had the same situation, no updates until we were actually approved. Currently, depending on which processing center has your paperwork, the timeframe for approval is about 14-16 months. Ours took 428 days.

@Molly Salem if you husband is abroad he will not have an interview until the embassy stage. After the I130 is approved it will be transferred to the NVC, then to the US embassy in his country.

after each week , the processing time is increasing now people happily talking about 16 months on average for us citizens immediate citizens . my God , I feel like we are going to cross 20 months soon
