did you file for an I-485 as well? cuz if you’re filing for a spouse, I believe you can submit both I-130 and I-485 given that the person filing you is a citizen

it could! usually. did you check the petitioners account for a document? sometimes approval notices are posted before the status changes. good luck!

@an u This only applies if they are both within the US while applying. Most people with just the I-130 have their spouses living outside of the US at time of application, so the I-485 doesn’t apply to these situations.
