Hi everyone. I just got approved after checking Uscis every day.
Nevertheless, I have some questions about what's next. Since I have no idea if I must travel to the city where the embassy of the United States is. Also, If I need to do anything else since I’ve gotten approved. Does anybody know what's next after getting approved? I hope everyone gets approved soon to be with your fiancées :D #I-129f #Colombia

are you the applicant or petitioner. the next step is wait for the welcome letter from NVC . in the welcome letter you will get login details. you need to login and submit your finance and your document mainly tax docs. then pay the fees and after that fees will be processed and if nothing wrong in documents then you will be documentarily qualified. all these will be over within a month. the last thing would be waiting for the interview letter from your embassy

@suchana pachhai I’m the applicant So, I have to wait for the welcome letter to do all of them things. Do you know if the medical exam is before the interview?

the welcome letter will have the case number which you will need to complete DS-160. Also using the Case Number you can check the status of the case using the ceac website the status will be received then change to in=tranit then change to ready. Once you complete the DS-160 you will print and hold on to the confirmation page, this will be one of documents needed for the interview and actually confirming your interview when the time comes. You will need to wait for the email from your embassy which will tell you the date and time. In the interim you can collect and translate documents like beneficiary birth certificate, any divorce decree if applicable for both Petitioner and beneficiary, petitioner and beneficiary passport copy, Petitioner evidence of citizenship can also use the passport for that. You will also need to complete I-134 and sign it and attach all supporting documents like IRS transcripts, proof of employment, recent paystubs. The beneficiary also need a police certificate along with the translation if not in English for any place he/she stayed more than 6 month (check ceac for details on this). The police cert I believe is valid for 6 months to a year again check the CEAC. The beneficiary need to perform a medical exam at approved medical panels. I don't know if you can do this before you get the interview email. Look at CEAC. The point here try to get as much document as you can ready as when the interview come you don't have to scramble. My wife had only 6 days to do all that. She got the email from the US Embassy of Beirut on Nov 11 for a 9am Nov 17 interview. Hope this info helps
