it's been six months since my case refused under administrative processing with DS-5535 haven't received anything yet

2 months without ds-5535 anyone else without ds-5355

@m r no where just to djibouti. I don't know why she got AP all our 5 children get their CRBA and u.s passport

i tried contacting the Senator and the congressmen i get the same response that they hadn't finished the AP process long waiting but nothing i can do.

my congressman got a reply from the embassy saying still AP but if anything in the passport changes from what’s listed on the ds260 we must report it to them as soon as possible to avoid more delay afterwards

my last update was may 20

@m r since October and I lost count at least ten times but it’s because I email them and they update it,

they sue the government to give u a response. they have only 60 days to respond. but its pricey. depending on ur lawyer. ask ur lawyer

@Fatima a i emailed them, and i got a response to complete and return a Privacy Release Form via email to place a Congressional inquiry on my behalf.

@z qasem they updated without an email, but when I checked on the ceac website , i saw a DS-260 reopened. i updated new information like my newborn baby and new phone number, and i resubmitted back.

@z qasem no they didn't ask for the passports, go to the ceac website you well see reopened instead of completed under IV Application.

‏السلام عليكم @Yasser Salah @Sara Saleh I was in AP for 6 month and was asked to drop passport and medical exam now I got my wife visa. I used to think that they forgot about my case. what I did and what I think helped speed my case up was my local congressman I kept begging them to email US consular which they did twice. also they started working on people that are stuck on administrative processing. الله يوفقكم so best advice “تفائلوا بالخير” and make sure your local congressman send an email to the US counselor and show proof that he emailed the US consular.

@waiting sam my congressman has emailed them twice and they gave up after that it’s been almost a year so I’ll try it. I’m not optimistic but won’t hurt to try. just confirming you needed a new medical?

hopefully all AP is resolved before the inauguration of whoever becomes president.
