Hi everyone,
My children's cases have been pending since June 2024—it's been 25 months now. This is for an IR-2 visa application (unmarried children under 21 of a U.S. citizen).
I'm considering filing a Writ of Mandamus and am currently in talks with an attorney. They quoted me a total of $5,000 for both cases, with a payment plan option.
Does this sound like a reasonable price? I'd really appreciate any insights, especially from attorneys or anyone who has been through this process!

if you case if out of Normal processing time , have you tried call them? schedule an info pass let them . also make sure and start planning if there is visa issuance pause in your country
