all the doctors will charge different amounts. you need to call the local civil surgeons and ask. I had a lot of different quotes where I am at. I am not sure if vaccines are all covered by health insurance there or not but something to think about. @Via T

is there a civil surgeon in toronto? because on uscis website its only allowing american addresses x

not sure! you should ask this specific question. I agree I don’t see Canada as an option on the website but I’m positive they have them all over the world. @Via T

I don’t think it matters if the doctor is in the same city as the interview does it? as long as they’re approved by USCIS?

it doesn’t matter what city you get your medical done, just a long as it’s an approved physician. we paid $800 for medical and vaccines. 🥲 in North Carolina, my dad did it in Georgia and paid $550.. so places definitely vary..

@Via T have you received an email from the embassy that they received your petition? if so, they will have the approved doctors in the email with with their contact information. Unfortunately, I do not know how to obtain a police certificate in Canada.

@E. Williams Badjie i havent yet, but im worried that they are gonna send me to montreal for my interview, when im based in toronto is there anyway to have it transferred to toronto when i do get my email?

@Via T you will have to contact them when once you receive your letter. My fiancé had to travel to another city in his country, eight hours away.

@Via T it will come from NVC-do-not-reply@state.gov you will receive a letter from the NVC. They will inform you which embassy has your case. At that time you can contact the embassy to see if you can change where your interview will be. it took about two weeks for us to get it.

@Via T - I’m almost positive you have to go to Montreal if you’re anywhere in Ontario. 😢

@Via T - I know…it sucks but it’s gonna be worth it in the end. I wish I could help you more but I applied from inside the US. I just know from research that if I did it from home they would have made me go to Montreal. Maybe give them a call tomorrow to ask all your questions. ❤️
