Hey guys, with COVID how long does it take to get my work permit and to be scheduled for an interview if I had my biometrics 2 months ago ( I applied for I-130 and I-485 on Jan2021 ). Thanks a lot

hey it's too slow running with covid, i receve my work permits and travel document 10 month ago (1year validity) nothing happen and I apply to renew now a month ago, my enquary status saying interview on january 20-may 2022.

it varies wildly from case to case depending on quality of application, backlog of your local field office and the mysterious workings of the uscis. the fact that you got your bio appt so quickly is great. my pd was December, had bio appt in February and my interview was last week - approved, being produced, no ead. I’m the exception not the rule.

you can get an idea how long your field office is taking by looking at processing times on the uscis website. it’ll give you a range - the first amount of months is how long it took for 50% of cases to get a decision and the second is 93%. It’s based on the previous 2 months.
