WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU FILE YOUR I751 CASE ONE MONTH or 3 weeks BEFORE your conditional GREENCARD expires. is that okay?

You may file 90 days before! But I do not see any reason why it would not be okay! You have applied within the correct timeframe! People usually leave some extra time if, God forbid, your application was rejected because you forgot to sign or you have incorrect fees etc. So, in those cases you have a time to resubmit without writing a letter explaining why your application were not on time. Other can share as well. All the best!

it's ok it's just that it's going to be expired before you get the new one

Apply within 3months before expiry date. I applied 3months 2weeks before and they returned my package back and asked me to use the calculator their website. Then i applied 2days after i hit the 3months mark, it was accepted and my extension letter was sent after 3weeks

1,3 or 8 months before through a lawer your card will be expired anyway, but they will send you a paper that says your card will be extended 4 years from the date your card will expire.

@Jessica Lama Hi Jessica! I do not know if there is a single answer to your question, but I would say it depends. I would suggest sending the same documents you submitted when you applied for the I-485. If those documents were sufficient at that time, there is no reason they would not be now. I hope this helps! As for what I sent (I may have gone overboard!): 1. Bank statements for the last 24 months 2. Credit card statements for the last 24 months 3. Federal and state tax returns for the last three years 4. Car title, registration, and insurance (in both of our names) 5. Health insurance cards for the past three years (since we were on the same plan as students) 6. Apartment lease 7. Phone bill (family plan with my brother) 8. Electricity bills 9. Memberships like Costco, Sam's Club, and AAA 10. Photos of us traveling together, hotel reservations, and some family photos (not a lot, as I don’t have many) 11. Dentist bills with both of our names (since we go to the same dentist)
