hey guys my work authorization renewal just got approved but my advance parole didn’t ! does that mean I will have to wait for a couple months for the advance parole ?

brother my work permit take 195 day and advance parole 320 days

@Sure Mercy hi I applied in July 19 2024 and my previous EAD expired in November 19 2024

@Avi h how long did it take to get the receipt? I heard that the receipt can be tendered to employer pending the EAD approval (18months)

@Sure Mercy it took around 4 weeks at that time!
and yes you can use your receipt as EAD for up to almost around 540 days. until you wait for the EAD.

@Avi h when did you file your vawa case... what year... I'm just praying 🙏 to God to answer our prayers 🙏 we all waiting for our vawa case... since May 23rd 2022 I file my vawa case... I can't wait to see my parents back home in my country?
