I was surprised when my ssn arrived 3 business days after my EAD

I received my social security same day with my EAD

I’m going in on Monday

you will get your ssn on time if immigration send over the information with they produce your work authorization but if they don't you have to make an appointment...so some will get there on time but most have to make an appointment thats what I had to do

nobody will pick up the phone I have to go in on Monday

I got mine maybe a week after

I’ve been calling social security nobody picked up I went there today they wouldn’t serve me if I didn’t have an appointment or my only choice was dropping my original documents so they can send them back and the security told me it’s not guaranteed that I will get them back so I didn’t take no chances I’m gonna keep calling until someone pick up

that's crazy! and unfair. couldn't they make u an appt as u were there? you have to wait for a phantom to pick up the phone!
